sobroken Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Ok so big question dated off and on still flirt, have been through some ruff times. Bottom line his mothers likes to bribe him with me. If you marry her I will pay for the honeymoon, etc. she tells me all the time that I am perfect for her son. His sister and brother are my bestfriends I was his sisters maid of honor and godmother to her child! So my question I have been told that men never marry their mothers favorites anybody have a guys opinion on this. p.S. he is extremely close to his mother....... when she mentions or make the comments he says mom stay out of it???????? mens help please.
Numerouno Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 All I can say (from a man's point of view) is, forget about the cliches/sayings. If the mother's a train wreck/whacko you better get out of there quick smart! But on the other hand, if she's a nice old gal then I'd keep going out with the guy and then see how it goes before I'd even contemplate marriage. But I understand you chicks dig those sort of concepts (marriage/love/romance) so, if the old gal is cool, I guess just make sure you like/love the guy 100% before you continue and possibly take the plunge. As for the mother and the honeymoon payment... Hell, if she's prepared to pay for that, see if she can throw in the keys to a house and a brand new Mercedes as part of the deal!
