bandgeek0203 Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 so this guy i had been dating for about a month, things were going well, suddenly starts to give me the silent treatment. at first i thought i should give it back to him, but i broke down and asked him what was up. eventually, after some denial, he apologized and explained that he just figured i wasn't interested. actually, i can see where he was coming from. but i really was interested. after telling me that he did like me, he said he would like to see me again, and that i should call him. maybe because he wanted to know that i was really interested?? (but in the back of my mind i was thinking, why cant he call me?) so i decided i was going to let him go and not call him, after everything that had happened. then i talked to him a little bit more about a week later and he again suggested that we should go out on a *date*, which i agreed to, except he did the same thing, he said that i should call him. i agreed, and but this weekend was so busy that i just texted him instead. and he never got back to me. whats up with that? to be quite honest though, i wasn't too excited about seeing him again in the first place, but i thought that maybe it would all be worth it in the end, and that's why i texted instead of calling. Does he really want to see me? Why does he keep suggesting (on his own, btw) we go out but can't call me? also, i just feel guilty for some reason, and i can't place my finger on it. i really want to see this guy, but at the same time, i don't. *sigh* am i the immature one? i really just didn't want to call him. but probably would've seen him if he had called me...
EYECANDY000 Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Just like you stated in your paragraph. maybe he just wants to know if you are interested or not. He probaly feels like hes putting forth the effort and you are being non chalant about things. So he is basiclly putting the ball in your court. He just needs some assurance to know that u like him as well. But since you arent interested I would just let him go instead of stringing him along
