PerfectLee Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Everyone I've ever asked always says "You just...know." What's your answer? I'm curious to know how people just "know" that their S.O. is "IT". Frankly my answer is that I just can't see myself with anyone else. It's kind of a lame answer, kind of cheesy even, but it's the truth. I knew it the 1st time I ever laid eyes on her, before even speaking to her. Weird feeling it is. What's yours?

I can say in all honesty based on my beliefs.....there is no such thing. Just latch on the the lesser of a some odd billion evils and go with it.
annieo Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 They're "it" when you can't walk away, you can see all the possible pitfalls but the potential joys outweigh them, and as the original poster said, you can't see yourself with anyone else. No one else would make sense.
brothermartin Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Every time I thought I knew, yep, I was wrong. Truth is you only know AFTER they don't rip your heart out and leave you crawling in the dirt. Say in about 20 to 30 years. Good luck kid.
BettyBoop Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 I think that if you have to question it on a board like this, then it probably isn't "it".
BeautifulMystique Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 I think that if you have to question it on a board like this, then it probably isn't "it". I believe PerfectLee know about his 'IT'. He's asking the rest of us how we know ours is 'IT'. As for me, I haven't met a guy that I could come close to say he's 'IT'.
RecordProducer Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Everyone I've ever asked always says "You just...know." What's your answer? I'm curious to know how people just "know" that their S.O. is "IT". In my two cases, there were two stages: 1. I knew they were IT. 2. They were not. I knew it the 1st time I ever laid eyes on her, before even speaking to her. Weird feeling it is.And how did you know this? By her sexy eyes, lips, and hair? (I don't think you were so shallow to look at her boobs and legs, although you acknowledged they were in excellent condition, too.) I think if women invested more in plastic surgery and less in reading self-help books about love, they would be many guys' "IT's."
marlena Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Oh, do you mean cousin "it" from the Adam's family? That's about as close as they come!! Now, if you happen to like short wallking and talking mumble jumble wigs then that's "it" for sure!!!
Author PerfectLee Posted December 1, 2007 Author Posted December 1, 2007 Yes BeautifulMystique, Thank you, I know mine is "IT", I was just curious about others. I had a conversation with a friend of mine the other day and I got the idea to ask on this board. RecordProducer, And how did you know this? By her sexy eyes, lips, and hair? (I don't think you were so shallow to look at her boobs and legs, although you acknowledged they were in excellent condition, too.) My gf actually doesn't have the boobs & legs combo, I met her at a coffee shop-she worked there, so I couldn't see most of her. Oh, and I'm not a guy, I'm a girl. I'm in a gay relationship. Very interesting answers from the others though, thanks. I was laughing at some of them. In my previous relationships I felt those ways.

Author PerfectLee Posted December 1, 2007 Author Posted December 1, 2007 It's kind of a long story, but lets just say I never believed in love at first sight until I saw her. We had a short conversation which led to me giving her my number which led to a date which led to us falling in love. It's a sappy love story, I'll spare the details, but gay people kinda know when other gay people are around. It's a radar system. lol Lets just say we both felt something between us and we never even talked about being "gay" at first.

I am bicurious myself so I want to meet a girl who is interested in girls just for a fling.
