GuidanceDMS Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Ok, I am going on a second date with this wonderful girl tomorrow and I am a dating newbie...so I am looking for some advice. What is the best or most "smooth" way of getting my arm around the shoulders of my date? You experienced gals should know what you like and will have some good advice for me. When is the best time to do it? How long do most girls like you to have your arm around their shoulders or waist during the movie? I just don't want to make a "dating mistake". I gladly thank anyone ahead of time who responds.
WIGIRL Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Arm around the waist is awkward in theater chairs. Arm around shoulders can be crampy because of the arm in the middle. My vote is always hand on the knee.
Art_Critic Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 My vote is always hand on the knee. Yeah I agree.. or hold her hand while setting it on your knee.. That should get you in the right position for a snuggle..
Art_Critic Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 I also always flip up the arm rest between the 2 seats so there isn't any obstruction between you both.. ( at least the movie theaters around here do that ).. That would allow you to get closer and be more comfortable
