I met this girl at a wedding a few weeks ago, and we hit it off right away. I have been in and out of many relationships in my life, and I have never been one to fall head over heels right away. I also never really bought into the whole love at first sight bit. However, I cannot ever remember feeling like this about someone, especially after only a weekend together. I know all of this sounds great, but I have 2 problems:

1) She lives on the East Coast, and I live in the midwest. (We obviously have been talking on the phone since the wedding)

2) I have sort of been seeing someone here, and I do not feel nearly the same way about the girl at home as I do for the one out East.

What do you guys think? Should I keep pursuing the girl out East even though the long distance may just cause heart ache and difficulty if something more evolves down the line? Or should I just stop the pursuit now, and go back to my normal life.

Thanks!

Hey, I know what you mean! I am kind of stuck in the same position that you are. I try to see other people in my area but there will be nothing that compares to the one I care for far away from me. You know you can try to just you know date around even if it feels weird just to have fun and ease your mind...nothing serious though, but keep in mind that you definitley do care about your girl on the East Coast and if one day you two get to see each other a lot it you know itll be ok to do so..you know just try and relax about take things slow...I know how it is, I feel the same way you do and it sucks but I have to come to the realization, but anything is possible so don't just give up or anything. If you feel shes all about taking it to that level, then that's awesome and go for it. Shouldnt matter how far she lives really as long as that connection is there.
