Dynamo Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Okay so I'm trying to figure out what to get some of my female friends for Christmas. I want it to be a surprise though. What would be a good way of going about and figuring out what each one would like without making it obvious I'm getting it for them? I was thinking of buying them DVD's and/or CD's, preferably their favorites but I don't know if they have them already or not lol.. ANyone have any tips for finding out what a gal wants for X-mas without making it apparent your getting that for them? Thanks!

Do the friends know each other.. if they do, you can ask one what the other likes.. or just get them something you think they would love... try to know which singer they like.. in a 'as a matter of fact' way... Gourmet chocolates are always loved... perfume.. Neiges is great

I actually know what movies / artists they like, I just don't know what movies / cds they already have, lol
Lizzie60 Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Hand made fancy chocolates, that's what I meant. a nice X-mas decoration is always appreciated... home-made gourmet food in a basket... or go in those 'basket stores' you can find nice baskets (body care)
whichwayisup Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 How about a gift certificate to a clothing store?

We're not that difficult. A gift for a man does not require any money. Give me a naked, beautiful, & willing woman under the Christmas tree and I'll be very happy.

Don't you think that a woman wearing nice sexy lingerie is better?
Author Dynamo Posted November 29, 2007 Author Posted November 29, 2007 LOL yeah I'm not sure if they'd like a naked me haha! (well maybe one of them would but not all ) Thanks for the suggestions so far guys and gals!
Lizzie60 Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 nice scented candles... nice scented linen spray (I loooove that) my sheets smell fresh ..
Pedigree Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Gift certificates are good. It's easy and they're more likely to avoid getting DVDs and CDs that they already have. But DVDs or not, just don't make it look like you went to a special effort just to get one of them (and you know which one:cool:) a present. It'll look suspicious.
Lizzie60 Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Gift certificates are good... but it is the 'lazy' way... not personal enough for my taste... there are sooo many things he can get a woman.. it's insane.. I rather have someone makes some research than just get a GC... Same for a card... I can spend hours looking at cards... I love cards.. but I prefer the blank ones... so I can write a personal messages..

LOL I was actually worried about just that thing, Pedigree.. I thought of the perfect gift to get her but it's pretty much completely out of my way, yet I feel compelled to get it.. GAH! Sometimes I wish I could just put my emotions aside and walk away.
