okay so weve known each other thru work 4 about 4 months, eventually i gave him my number, we arrange a date and text each other all week before, when it comes to the day i dont go 1.because of his reputation.2.because i was late.3.because of a few rumours i been hearing.4.because he lives about 200 miles away.5.i just dont know. anyway i kinda regretted it and txt him the next mornin saying sorry, he replied dont worry bout it, but i aint heard from him since. Surely if he liked me as much as he said in the beginning he would've text me by now? Do i text him or is he actually looking for a bit of fun when he's up my way and was just putting on the charm!?

Seriously? You completely blew this guy off and didn't even warn him. You texted him the next day. Any self-respecting man would ignore you at this point.

I just went through one of those weeklong dysfunctions with a girl who was all over the place. As I told her, I don't mind stress, I get plenty of it at work. But in order to continue this relationship I would have to be completely masochistic. I'm not, so I won't.

To some degree, this is what he's thinking. "I just don't need someone like this in my life when there are plenty of women who don't flake". This is the consequence of your decision to be incredibly rude and selfish to him.

If you are a little weary of his reputation and you stood him up, then why are you wasting your time by texting him again?

Wow you blew this guy off just like that?! Just because he's had a reputation that doesn't mean he's STILL like that... I remember there was an instance were something like this similarly happened to me... Didn't turn out to good...

Like Krytie said - it was your mistake in blowing him off. I wouldn't deal with you again, either. In the future, make up your mind if you want to see the guy or not. Otherwise, don't keep flipping sides for both yourself, and the guy involved.

It sounds like you want him back for the pure pleasure of knowing that he likes you. If you're not interested, then move on quickly.
