sstc123 Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Hello, I've got a frustrating situation and was hoping for some suggestions... Here's the story: About 2-3 weeks ago I wrote a note to a bank teller that I'm interested in asking if she'd like to go out for coffee sometime. I didn't want to put her on the spot or get her in trouble at work so I said she could give me an answer the next time we saw each other. A few days later, I was at her counter and I could sense a bit of awkwardness. It was busy that day so it was difficult to ask her about it. So when she was finished I paused a bit thinking she would give me a reply or a note or something, then she asked if there was anything else, I said "no" and she said "See you friday". The thing is, I haven't had a chance to talk to her since then. She only works 2 days a week and there are other tellers, so lately she's been with other customers. ----------------- Is it too late? I want to get an answer from her but I'm not getting any chances so far and it's really frustrating. Any suggestions on how I could get a chance to talk to her that won't seem weird, make her uneasy or seem like I'm stalking her or something? And finally, what's the best way to get an answer without getting her in trouble at work? Should I write a note with my email or phone # so she can give me an answer privately? Thanks!
whichwayisup Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Yes, give her your phone number!! If you don't go for it (as long as she isn't married) you might regret it. Lay it out there and see what happens. Don't let worry's and fears prevent you from asking her out. SO what if you make abit of a fool of yourself...If she says no, atleast you tried. See you friday What's Friday????

Author sstc123 Posted November 27, 2007 Author Posted November 27, 2007 What's Friday???? Yes! What's Friday?? Is she hinting something here?? Friday was the other day she works during the week. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see her that Friday... that was around 2 weeks ago... Maybe she was hinting something but I wasn't sure.. Any ideas on how I could get a sure opportunity to talk to her without making it obvious or weird? I could let people go ahead of me until she's available but I think that's too obvious.
