scottydog Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Seeing how Christmas is just around the corner, I need some ideas on what to get my girlfriend of 7 months. I was curious to see what people are buying their bf or gf. Personally, I was thinking of getting her a nice watch like a Movado or something, though the practical side of me asks why would she want one when she already has one (one from Target). While I'm sure she would appreciate it, I'll honestly say that she's not that into brand names. Or maybe she just can't afford it? I dunno. The guy side of me wants to get her lingerie, but not sure if she would like what I buy? Though she said that whatever I like, she would be ok with it. I know what clothing store she likes so I thought about gift certificate but that seems thoughtless to me. I did ask her directly what she wanted for Xmas but she doesn't know. Either that or I get the impression that she just doesn't want me to spend a lot of money on her.

I'm trying to figure out what to give my bf of a year plus. Very non-materialistic, practical, and much more inclined to get excited about tools and such that I don't know enough about to have much of a chance of getting the right thing.
