almosthere Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 My crush who may be "in love" with her boyfriend of two months is the girl in question... My friend is dating her best friend We both like basketball, and live one hour from the 76ers, not sure if either of the girls like basketball I want to ask my friend if he would go with his gf to a game (again a decent way away) and I invite my crush to come along This would be our first time going anywhere outside of school together Is this too over the top? The biggest issue may be getting my friend/his gf to go. They both know I really like her. Any questions just ask.
jerbear Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Go for it. Friends tend to help friends by going on double dates. The girls can talk while sometimes the guys talk. Try it.

You brought up the issue I am afraid of, it will seem to much like a date when I ask her I fear. I want to ask her without it coming across like that.
jerbear Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Sooner or later it has to be done. A date will have to happen eventually. It isn't one of those hanging outs and end up being a relationship thingys? Let her know your interested and do something; not watch a movie but go do an activity together. Try something you want to do.

Try something you want to do. I guess you are right. Any suggestions for how to ask her? Phone or in school? How should I say it? Sorry for all the questions, I suck at this and tbh I fear failure.

You don't get a relationship by not saying hi. Talk to her, flirt, then ask her out. Practice makes perfect, the more you ask the more you'll be more relaxed when it arises again.

I feel like she is the only one I will ever like like I do.

Well, you definitely should get those two to come along or things will look suspicious. On a side note, you're a persistent one, aren't you?
