PattyDuke Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 I've been spending a lot of time with this guy. We talk, literally, every day. have a good time together. And, yes, we have sex. Since he just got out of a relationship, we both went into knowing it wouldn't go far. But this deep friendship developed and it is getting confusing. Every now and then, usually when he's had a drink, he makes speeches about how he's not ready for where this is headed, says he could fall in love with me, etc. etc. All this, even though I assure him I'm not looking at him long term (which isn't exactly true, but I know he's not ready...). I'm now starting to wonder if he keeps making these speeches - they are literally starting to happen every time we see each other - to convince himself we can't have anything longterm, to make sure I'm not looking at him in a serious way or some combination of both. Any thoughts? Advice?
Letranger Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 He sounds like he is confused himself. Do you really want a wishy washy guy and all the trouble that goes with it? Or a man that is man enough to know what he wants and not waste anyones time? I'd think about tit
Author PattyDuke Posted November 24, 2007 Author Posted November 24, 2007 I'm just along for the ride. Not really needing anything long term.
