When you have to break up with somebody, all you need to know is enough to make the decision. Any other information will be insignificant and could make the pain much worse.

I wanted to know everything. And after he knew that there was nothing left for him here, he told me that it had happened before when I was pregnant with our youngest. About 15 years ago.

My W's infidelity hasnt been the main focus of my thoughts up until now, I think I was processing the initial shock and the fact that the relationship is over. I have started thinking about the betrayal more now though.

 

I think I am going to wait a few weeks and hope these thoughts die down, I dont want to rush into asking questions that I might not want to know the answers to and could make things a lot more painful, however I dont want these unresolved thoughts nagging away at me either.
