mpower95 Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 I've been dating a woman for the past 3 months and there is definitely a connection. However, since she just got out of a bad 4 year relationship she is really enjoying her freedom and doing the things she couldn't do while she was in the relationship. She is dating other people as am I, but there is just something special about her. I'd love to take things to a new level, but I just get the feeling that she doesn't want anything serious at this time, which I cannot blame her for. I basically don't want to be a rebound for her, so I've stopped talking to her for the time being. I'd like to stay in touch with her with the hopes that I can pursue something more serious with her at a later time, but I would like to know what you guys and ladies think. Should I stick around? Just cut off all contact all together?
Elyssa Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 You sound like a mature guy, so if you really think she's worth it, keep dating her casually, without putting any pressure to take things to the next level. Keep dating other women, and make sure she knows she's free to do so as well. It's been only 3 months... take your relationship one day at a time, for now. It might come to a point in which you two naturally phase into a more serious relationship, or it might not... but if it doesn't, you won't have wasted time. Who knows, you might meet someone else you like that is ready to have a committed relationship with you now. Keep your options open. -E
Blue Eyed Brain Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 What about her is different than other women you have dated? Is it that she doesn't want a steady relationship? Sometimes we run to the things we want the most w/o knowing it's not what we thought we wanted.... What makes her desirable to you?

Sometimes we run to the things we want the most w/o knowing it's not what we thought we wanted.... What makes her desirable to you? What makes her different is that she's got her life together in terms of her career, and is very independent. Whenever we hang out, there is a chemistry there that I cannot explain. However you have a point about her not wanting a steady relationship. It creates a challenge that just makes me want want to pursue her more.
