Hello-

Just wondering if there are any men out there that have dealt with the their wives having intimacy issues and were able to work through it without divorcing.....

I feel like I am the only woman out there that seems to have this issue ( i must be a freak!!)

not be able to tell him that I do need him, not feeling comfortable just going up to him and hugging him or kissing him......a tendency to push hum away rather than hold him close.

This may or may not be helpful, but I had a GF like this! I tried several approaches, High affection, low affection, lots of praise, zero compliments, and romantic gestures. Low affection combined with praise and romantic gestures generated some good results! She became more affectionate with me, but I eventually got tired of feeling like I couldnt be spontaneously affectionate with her!

to his credit my husband had tried to help me as best as he could, but since he was dealing with his own depression he wasn't always able to pull me out of my moods.

it's funny though as I do not have any issues in the bedroom, that is the one place where I could let go and let my feelings out.......and the sad part is my husband due to his depression, had a very low sex drive....so he wasn't meeting my needs nor was I meeting his.

were you and your GF able to work things out??
