We have become good friend, and we are both interested in our friendship turning into a relationship, which would be a LDR. He was trying to get things worked out to come and spend the weekend with me, he would have came in tonight and left on Sunday. Early this week he went to his job site and work just about 20 hours straight to try to make it up here. Well turns out that he just can't swing it We have talked more this week than any other week. About three phone call that lasted from one to three hours. I would like to tell/show him in some way that I appreciate all of his efforts on trying to get here this weekend, but I don't just want to say it to him over the phone. I thought I could maybe write him a message letting him know that I would be willing to go where he is sometime. Just to kind of open the door for sweeter sentiment, but I don’t want to be too forward. Input and Ideas would be Great thanks !

Please tell me he would be staying in a hotel, or at a friend's house, anywhere BUT your house! Real time is very different than online. I met loads of men online who sounded PERFECT online and on the phone, but when we met there was no chemistry, or they turned out to be nuts. Also why can't he swing coming? He worked extra hours - does that mean he's just behind in his work or what? Not enough data for me to really think anything yet.
Author Ruthieo01 Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 Well I have already met him, we have a lot of the same friends and he was at my cousins house for a party during halloween. This would be the first time he or I would get together just for getting to know one another better. So I have met it a few times before. He is a Coal Miner, and he has to go underground to work on the motor that carries the coal out of the mine. He was trying to get it done earlier this week, but just could do it, so he has to finish it tomorrow.
