fever to tell Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 commitment, and then tried for commitment with another girl but got rejected.... would it be excercising a lack of self respect to consider taking him back after he lied so blatantly? i miss him
IrishCarBomb Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Well, if you don't mind being lied to and treated as second-rate.... go for it!
Ocean-Blue Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 commitment, and then tried for commitment with another girl but got rejected.... would it be excercising a lack of self respect to consider taking him back after he lied so blatantly? i miss him When you say he lied, do you mean that he said he didn't want a commitment (but then went ahead and professed his undying commitment to the next girl)? OR did he lie about something AND give you the "can't commit" speech? Consider his reasons for knocking on your door. The guy got rejected. He has crawled back to you because you are familiar, you are comfortable, you can validate him and nurse his broken ego... So, do you want to play nurse?
compassion42 Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Maybe he didn't lie-maybe he changed his mind and realized that indeed he DID want a committed relationship afterall? I'd consider taking him back and see what happens this time around...unless of course you find out he's just a big liar.
