Would you be wary of dating a girl with a lot of guy friends?

I notice there are two types of these girls in college. There are those that seem to always be surrounded by 3 or 4 guys, like a group.

And then there are those that I always see with girls, but seem to have guys calling them, and often talk about hanging out with friends who are guys.

Do you guys (or girls) see a difference too?

Hmmm... tough one. As long as she has more girl friends than guy freinds.. or at least a decent balance.

If women hate her or she doesn't get along with them there's usually a good reason...

...right ladies?

– she might relate better to men than she does women

– she might actually "see" these guys in a familial sense, and not boyfriend material (describes me in college)

– she might not even consider it a "guy-girl-girl-guy-guy-guy" thing when it comes to friends; they're just friends, gender not important

If women hate her or she doesn't get along with them there's usually a good reason...

not necessarily ... some girls are just jealous and catty because they feel that they're in competition

I just wanted to add that guys that only hang around with girls are weird too when I realized I do that myself.

But that's only in school, maybe those girls have a lot of female friends back home too.

As the guys in question has been friendzoned, I don't see why not.

ahahahaha

When a girl does not have female friends by her own choosing (key words:her own choosing) and confides in/hangs out with guys only-from a female perspective these women were no one I would want to get close to.

They often exhibited all the signs of cattiness and competitiveness they claim other women feel towards them-Oh brother! They all say they get along with men better, nlahblah-subtext is :I'm sooo beautiful no woman can stand me.

Truth is all the bad stuff is coming from them, it is them who choose unwisely or can't relate without sexuality involved.

Unless the BF or SO is a spineless wimp with no value judgements, they would notice a pattern that girl with no female friends tends to have very indecent interactions with her male friends, and can only relate to people depending on how much it is about having her ego stroked.

Good luck! Some guys like to be tortured! And you can take *that* to the bank!

Sure I would. I have a lot of female friends. Of course, I would make sure she and the guy friends had the same "don't sleep with your friends" philosophy. Gotta make sure.

Now if the "friends" are mostly ex-boyfriends, then I would be cautious with that girl or even take a pass.

I strongly agree with the above.

I'd be more than happy to be another friend of such a girl but i wouldn't consider her serious relationship material at all.
