monkey00 Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 I don't know why it is but lately I've changed. In the past I would prefer to have few friends that I'd hang out with often on a regular basis. Now the opposite has happened and I prefer to have a various range of friends, while keeping contact regularly and doing different activities at different times. Right now, I kind of get sick of hanging out with the same friends on a constant basis which the rotation is helpful. In the past I've always outgrown my friends and I've hit another stage where I am again. It's also difficult now as well becuase my life is more busy than it used to be. Sometimes it feels like a bad thing becuase I don't keep in touch with them as much as they or I'd like and that I'm pushing them away. Does anyone else feel this way?
Pedigree Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 I guess that's just the way things goes, you meet new people and if you like them you're friends. At high school, I too only had a small group of friends. Now at uni, I've got another group of friends that I hang around with (Well, I still consider them acquaintances but I might have to upgrade them since I hang around them a lot). Not to mention people from my different classes, my gym buddy, and my drinking/partying buddies. Don't worry about having a hard time keeping in touch. I went to watch a movie with my high school buddies the other day and a friend came along who I had not seen in 10 months. All I got was a guy who was keen to catch up.
