kiraknight Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Im just wondering if this Proverb is true. the other day when I got kinda drunk with some of my friends, this guy flirted with me and I flirted with him. He held doors open for me, kept subtlely trying to touch me, asked me If I thought he was cute, commented when I touched him etc. Hes never kissed a girl or had a girlfriend. Our friends there said Im pretty sure he likes you and such. They may have said this cause a lot of guys have liked me or cause ive been told he doesn’t usually flirt with girls even while drunk. He did leave me a voicemail checking to see if I got back OK when I left. He said he’d IM the next day and he did right away the next morning, he was def. sober while doing these things. The day after he seemed friendly enough he noticed me at practice. Whatever I never expected anything to happen. but a bunch of people there that night meddled in the situation, trying to get us together ( they did have good intentions) but he told his close friends he doesn’t like me, and he never told them about the messages, so I gave up. The day he knew my friend told me "hey he said he doesn’t like you" he said hi randomly but whatever it doesn’t mean anything. I hardly see him anymore, I like another guy right now but I never found out what really happened. Its kind of bothering me because I cant figure him out. The thing is, he wasnt even really drunk, he does this thing where he has 2 and pretends to be drunk, in fact that night another girl there was picking on him for doing that. Do you think this is a case where alcohol causes feelings to come out or gives someone courage or was he just a different person that night? And don’t say hookup- we’re not like that at all. I dont have alot of experience with drunk guys, so I dont know if he was just playing games with me (he doesnt seem like that at all) or if the alcohol o excuse of alcohol gave him courage to do something. Thanks.
