Blue Eyed Brain Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 My friend is confused... she's been dating this guy and he started to tease her about: "I love you" when they share meals, "Sexy" when he sees her flossing and "will you marry me" when she does something cute. Today, she gave him something like his favorite lollipop or gum and he said "you love me." Well, she got nervous and called me. I'm not sure if he's just being flirty and cute or if he's starting to fall for her - what do you think?
Ima littleconfused Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 How long have they been dating? Do they share any other terms of endearment? i.e. hunny, baby, babe, etc. etc.
compassion42 Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 It sounds to me like he is sort of testing the waters to see how she responds. I'd think that he possibly DOES have those feelings for her and is using a cute way to let her know.

It's more than simple teasing. He's feeling her out...to see how she responds.
Lovegod Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 He's flirting, and he REALLY sucks at it. Don't worry, I'm sure he'll quit saying that stuff when she ditches him.
Author Blue Eyed Brain Posted November 9, 2007 Author Posted November 9, 2007 Update: When he says this stuff, she's responded with: I love you - I've been getting that vibe from you..... :- ) Will you marry me - oh, you only want me for my rims (I think she meant on her car....) Sexy - She told me she was flossing her teeth and he saw her doing it, - No response just laughed... I think it's harmless flirting with a bit of truth (feeling her out). I do think he fantasizes about her though.......hmmm.... I haven't met a bad flirt, just a flirt with bad timing. My motto, no flirting is bad if you get what you want......
