Thanks for mentioning this song. I looked it up on YouTube... Quite a nice song - love the imagery!

It is indeed too late to apologize.

You must be. It brought me to tears too. Actually, you asking me the question that you did induced the tears.

It's all good. I'd recommend some other songs, but seeing as how you're not feeling too great right now...I'll refrain.

Did you leave too?

I couldn't edit, i should've said "Je" instead of "Jou" go figure, my having a French mother.

Glad to hear you're OK.

Look up Peter Heppner's "Hide and Seek". It's a lovely song. Yet another tear jerker.

It's nice to talk with someone else that is sad, even though we ended it.

Are you o.k.?

Godda love that song:)

Here's a song that I love to listen to when I'm down:

It might not relate 100% to you, but focus on the refrain rather than the bodies:

[The] Beauty of Grace

Krystal Meyers

I often listen to this song because I can relate to it even without being in the exact situation mentioned in it. It's about forgetting your mistakes, which is the beauty of grace.

I like the song, but the words do not apply to my situation.

Your History by Shakepeares Sister does thought...... I laugh but seriously ;)

Those with ex's you don't like listen and look up the words.

Lol. I was listening to that song as I opened this thread. Good song, but it doesn't make me cry.

Jewel's "You Were Meant for Me" kills me each time though.

Yeah!!! I cant stop listening to it either. Reminds me of my stupid ex and how many times he wormed his way back into my life by simply apologising and I took him back like an idiot that I was. The last time he tried though, I never fell for it and that was 6 months after we broke up. I was soo proud of me.

Apologize is an amazing song. The original by One Republic is even better. The words describe almost to a tee what a lot of us have experienced. Another song by them is called Stop & Stare. That one talks about moving on and putting the past behind you.

Ive listened to a lot of their songs and they all cover pretty personal issues so I really like them.

I first heard Apologize about 8 months ago. Before it came out..It was on a demo a record producer handed me and I brokedown!!! It's perfect..I like the original version better without Tim :o ( Love you Tim lol  )

BUT I also LOVE ALL WE ARE & IT'S TOO EASY by One Republic as well. GREAT SONGS!!

The other one that gets to me as well has been JEWEL 'you were meant for me' and 'Foolish Games' I never really understood foolish games when I heard it. Now running into it years later it has broken my heart. I have heard it 50 times. lol

Also, 'Set Adrift On A Memory Bliss' by PM DAWN and 'I'd Die Without You' same group.
