I'm not trying to take you for a fool or assume that you are a fool, if thought that im sure I would not be chasing you right now. (Is this a good time to point out the guy has my mobile number also knows where I live - and is doing all this via email!!! Not sure what to make of that)

Well last one was sent but will not anymore, the only way he will get my attention now is to turn up at my house with a rahter big bunch of flowers, champange, thorntons chocolates and dressed ready to go out. Problem he'll have is I probably won't be in anyway

Ouch. As far as accents go, ever hear a West Virginian talk? For being just below the mason dixon line they seem to have the thickest southern accent I've ever heard.
