Sunblast Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Somehow I think that support and advice sites like Love Shack are a little too "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood" for people with strong, healthy egos, and so I may well get flamed for writing this. See who cares. But let me tell you, fellow Love Shack visitors: there are some really pathetic people in the world. I mean -really- pathetic. It smacks of Jeff Foxworthy's joke about the state fair - if you ever doubt yourself, just go to the fair, and you'll see that you're ALLLLL RIGHT. Man. This woman. Now, see, for contrast: I go to a strip bar to meet a friend who's cocktail-waitressing there, and we hang out, joke around, and the like. I then go to a party where just about everyone is friendly and cool and tells me all these different stories (at once) and girls are friendly. But then I go see this other woman. Now, I suspected she was a little loopy, but I thought I'd give it a try. Here's a tip, you guys: fight this morbid scientist's curiosity to investigate women just to see what's there. Go to those who you think are badass. MAN!! You thought CLINGY was a word for someone calling every other day. This woman CLINGS. Physically. She hugs and doesn't let go. She holds your clothes. She yells at you (at me) not to push her away when she wants to hug and hold you some more. In a fetal position. Talk about a fear of abandonment or whatever. Wow. I'd hate to be her shrink. How do you keep this case? It's white, she calls it black. You can slowly, painfully, convince her that it's white, or you can just sympathize about it being black. It, the world she lives in, where everyone secretly hates her and she sucks all around. Man! Cuh-razy. So next time you think people are crazy and you wanna call them that -- don't. They aren't. Not unless they are like this. THIS is crazy. Your little petty crazy ****, that's just what's called normal.

pollywag Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Reminds me of the story of Sister Hertrudis, she is the one that talks to herself and bangs her head against the wall for no apparent reason. I remember one day I saw her riding on the bus and the place was packed like an unopen pack of smokes. Sister Hertrudis was talking to herself and saying strange things and swearing like a trucker looking away into space. She would tell "them" to listen to her because she knew and then let out a chain of profanities too crude for a lady to repeat let alone a nun. To make matters worse she was was wearing one of those maskarade half masks with feathers on it that covered the upper part of her face, but that part I suppose was not too bad because it was Halloween And then it dawned on me, Sister Hertrudis is crazy enough to swear at imaginary people in the middle of public transit but she is sane enough to know that it is Halloween? Im not sure what is more pathetic, the way this woman took to you or the fact that you sat there and entertained her antics and if that weren't enough you feel compelled to share with the world how this woman took to you like flies to poop and because of this she is lame? Maybe she wasn't that crazy afterall maybe she just knew it was Halloween.
