CallMeCrazy Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 LOL.... this was such a funny post. I have to admit my MM called me from a public restroom on Friday night. He was at the mall with his daughters and had been texting me ~ he just ran in there quick to call me for literally two minutes. He wasn't actually "going" to the bathroom... it was just the only place he could get away without them listening. However, I do know that he uses the bathroom excuse to text me when he's with his W at home. She thinks he has the worlds smallest bladder, I'm sure.... I have heard a surprising number of WOMEN on the phone in public restrooms (while they are in the stall!!) more recently. Overall, I do think it's totally inappropriate and no conversation is so urgent that it can't wait until you're done in there... Ewwww.

I never actually seem to find enough privacy in a place like this to make a quick call, yet my MM always does it. Other men surely must hear him? Is it an obvious thing to other men when MM do this? I'd love to hear comments on this. I just find that extremely rude...I wouldn't put up with it...You shouldn't either...

Although I would Never do that, it shows how Peter Panish some men are. I think the only time I have ever called anyone from a PR was probably when it was Emergency only (if you ladies know what I mean). If you gotta go, you gotta go. Go, though--don't call. I will talk on the phone with people while using my toilet at home but to hold a conversation in a PR is kind of weird. Now I'll be listening out to see if any women are doing this. Great...
PoshPrincess Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 My exMM called me from the pub loo once or twice and I can't say I was in the slightest bit offended to be honest. I knew exactly where he was as everything he said echoed. I would imagine he checked first that he wouldn't be heard anyway (although he was stupid enough to get caught in the end so maybe not!) I guess they just want to find any opportunity to call. I sometimes think they think they're invincible! My exMM used to go down the garden shed to phone me or often used the excuse that he was popping out to get some diesel. Why his W chose to believe that one so often I don't know! Personally, I would've wondered why he couldn't just do that on his way to/from work!
