White Flower Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Just curious as to how many men in general ever notice that MM are calling their OW from public bathrooms. I never actually seem to find enough privacy in a place like this to make a quick call, yet my MM always does it. Other men surely must hear him? Is it an obvious thing to other men when MM do this? I'd love to hear comments on this.
Lyssa Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 LOL! I would love to hear the comments too. MM has never had any problem in calling me any time anywhere. I would hate to think he has to go to the bathroom to talk to me!!! Even when he was married, he didn't have to resort to that. Oh! This reminds me of that one time I was in the public bathroom, a lady was talking and well... ermmm... moaning!! When I left, I laughed. I went back to my table... minutes later, she joined the man sitting across my table! Both wearing wedding bands too!!!

Lyssa Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 I don't know if they matched but she sure moaned alone! I asked my friends if he was there the whole time and they said yes. They couldn't take theirs off the guy seeing that he was HOT!

But I guess it's a good place just like any other places... as long as the OW doesn't hear the 'plock' in the water... hahaha

(I know I've asked you this when you had a different pic) I suppose I should ask this question in a different forum and direct it to all men in general? Do you think my MM has gone under the radar and no one notices?

I've far too often found myself washing my hands next to someone whose entire break-up or phone sex or shopping list I've just overheard (well, half of), and feeling outright pity for them given that they're having canned meatballs on reddi-rice with frozen peas for supper.
liddie Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 About two months ago my MM was on his way to pick his motorcycle up from the shop. His son and father-in-law were with him. They apparantly stopped at a gas station or fast food restaurant and he called me from the bathroom!!
Lyssa Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 LOL - I don't know.. that is just so wrong but it was nice of him to take the time to call you!!
greengoddess Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 lol ok I am happy to read that the ow don't take these phone calls as a sign of true love. A quick sneak in the loo.
liddie Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 A sign of true love....no....just a tincy bit flattering....maybe!! I mean come on he did go out of this way to call right?

TogetherForever Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 If any man called me from a restroom stall, I'd hang up on him. TF

NoIDidn't Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 I'm with OWoman on this. Getting a phone call from a public bathroom is just......eeewwwwwwww. Especially from a man with urinals and the like.

Especially from a man with urinals and the like. Yeah, especially when you hear the toilet flushing! It was so funny the other day...MM is in the public restroom and W comes looking for him, opens the mensroom door, and shouts, "Are ya in there?"
Gwyneth Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 I just had this whole post in response to the original question, then lost it...well, it was good, so I'll try again. I find it quite odd that this man calls you from public restrooms. I stated that Maybe he find peace and solitude in the bathroom, and hearing your voice further mores that feeling. I have exes and even the current MM I'm involved with seem to Always feel the need to call me while in the bathroom. I find it truly disgusting, but hey, they're guys (well, that's the excuse they use). I think it's more of a subliminal message, such as "Yes, I'm in the bathroom where I am standing here half naked, touching myself, and talking to you at the same time." My MM finds the time anywhere to call me. Not so much anymore since his wife now knows my name and phone number. He will now either use payphone or friend/coworkers' phones. Or he signs onto mobile web and shoots me an email to my blackberry. Amazing how men will get around talking to the woman they're having an affair with, thanks to today's amazing technologies. If a man is truly interested in you, he will call you anywhere he can, including the bathroom. Take it as a compliment--or don't...it works either way

It was so funny the other day...MM is in the public restroom and W comes looking for him, opens the mensroom door, and shouts, "Are ya in there?" Do notice that I said "public bathroom". LOL! I wouldn't be so grossed out if he was in his own personal home bathroom. Public restrooms are just ....... nasty. I don't even want to breathe in most of them, let alone talk. lol.

He must have taken a long time in there!
Author White Flower Posted November 3, 2007 Author Posted November 3, 2007 She actually went into a public male restroom looking for her H?? He must have taken a long time in there! Actually, no, he had not taken a long time in there. But, as he was leaving for an extended trip and knew he wasn't going to see me for a long time, he'd made 5 trips to the bathroom and made a call to me every single time. He wanted me to know that he was really going to miss me. She must have gotten tired of him disappearing. He blamed it on a weak bladder from all the drinking he had done before the flight.

He does need to get away just to hear my voice for a few minutes or to leave me a quick message just to say he's thinking about me. And he has joked about the half-naked thing...his W thinks he is sick when he jokes like that. And my MM has a lot of time on his hands so his W is almost always around. He really needed to come up with creative ways to get in touch with me. He won't risk calling while she's in the shower or in the house. If I hear someone else flush in the background I'm sure to thank him for the very romantic call:sick: Even though it is not romantic, I do like knowing how many times in a day he has thought about me. I'm sure it is more than the times he calls, but he doesn't want to look like a stalker.
