Conversely, however, they often do stem from some kind of truth. There is a segment of black male society that is of the "**** a bitch" mindset. Unfortunately, it's a disproportionately large segment. Which is not to say at all that it's applicable to all black men, or that it's BECAUSE they're black, or whatever, but it's a problem. Especially large numbers of the young, up-and-coming generation, more than ever are conditioned not to value or give women the basic respect due any person in life. I see it every day. But I'd agree with most people, you're going to want to avoid thug types, or as I prefer to call them, "hoodass losers." If you are a female that pursues and appeals especially to that type, then you're really going to reap what you sow...but I'm glad you've moved on and grown.

There's also a segment of the white male population that believe they need to bang as many women as possible, without consequences, giving zero respect. Hoodie mentality of any race, is unacceptable behaviour.

Woggle Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 I used to live in a mostly black community and I never had any problems. It was a very small percentage of the people who were causing problems and if you mind your business you should be fine. On the other hand I once took a trip through the deep south and those rednecks scared the hell out of me. They didn't seem to mentally stable and it seemed like they wanted to shoot for having a Yankee accent.

Each cultural group (if we can call them that) have their own flaws and attributes - each operate through unique cultural mores and values. What you may find in one, you may not find in another. Unless you've done a conclusive study (using approved, objective methods) your conclusion reeks of idiocy.

I am a proud african-american male, and I was raised to treat everyone as equals.. because everyone is equal in God's eyes. I have not been "conditioned" to "turn" against my own race due to emancipation, or anything else! Some of you people need to stop getting your information about African-Americans from theatrical releases, and MTV.

If woggle is white anything facts he claims about darker races is automaticaly true...

By no means am I trying to say every black person is like that but problems that exist in certain segments of the black community are residual effects from the psychological games slavemasters used to play to make slaves more easy to manage. Put any race in that position and you will see the same results so don't take this as some attack on the black community. It is also a result of being poor because you do see many of the same problems in poor white communities. Often poor people turn on each other because they are scared to turn on the power structure.
