I know the idea of pouring something in to your colon to give your digestive track a good rinse is sort of gross but I want to do it. Colonics are supposed to be great for your health and basically all spas, and some gyms offer them.

So there are two options, make an appointment or buy one of those do it yourself kits :sick: I'm pretty uncomfortable with both ideas

Has anyone done it?

No. I haven't done it . But I just wanted to say, if this is your first time doing it, if i were you i'd make an appointment and get a professional to do it. At least for the first time anyway.

I've never done it either. Word on the street is that colonics can actually be harmful to the balance of good/bad bacteria in your digestive tract (since it's not designed to be "rinsed" periodically).

Anyways, if you DO get it done, let me know how it goes. I've always been curious.

I have had it done, and I wouldn't recommend a DIY one at all.

It can be quite uncomfortable- it doesn't hurt, but it feels wierd. And I could NOT believe the AMOUNT of POO that came out. It was revolting. At least seven or eight full logs worth- and that was all just sitting up there in my colon.

Yuck.

I felt quite bloated for a few hours afterwards which is normal, but I didn't lose that much weight.

I did notice that I was much more "regular" afterwards, and I would probably get it done again, although I think getting it done too often can be bad for you,
