So out of curiosity, what's the minimum height you would date?

I'm curious because on dating sites a lot of 5'8" women have around 5'8" as their minimum for a guy, but women around 5'3" frequently list 6'+.

I'm usually drawn to men who are 6'+. It doesn't mean I wouldn't date a guy who's 5'6". It's all about chemistry.

edit: I should qualify that. I did have a fling/thing with someone who was around 5'6".

But generally I am happy with my body, until I hear comments like chubby chasers that is....LMAO

Ha! I always laugh when my buddies throw that one at me. But it dosent matter to me because I dont let a label tell me who I am. Niether should you, or anyone else.

How many women posting about the pressures on women to look perfect would be fine dating a guy 3" shorter than them?

FYI - I married one. (Well, 2" shorter, anyway.)

(Of course, not a marriage to model after at the moment, as you know...but not because of anyone's height.)

And I'm 6'0" and a size 6 to 8 (US). I've got plenty of curve in the ass department, but only moderated sized boobs. (In fact, I think they are on the small size.) Oh well. We can't all be Pam Anderson (at least not without surgical augmentation), now can we?

Congratulations to all you gals who have the boobs AND the ass. I'm envious.

thank you Plainoldjared :-)

I had a b/f that was 2 inches shorter, I am 5.9 I turn heads walking into a room or walking down the street I consider myself above average in overall attractiveness. I remember we would walk down the street and some people would stare and others just looked as people do. But I will never forget one night, there was a group of women in their mid twenties walking towards us and as we walked arm in arm happily along, one of them looked at me and then looked at him and let out a big laugh as they passed. I felt sorry her because all she could see was what was cemented in her brain as the ideal picture. Little did she know that she was laughing at the happiest woman alive. She will probably never know love like that and it's sad.

Yes I guess although always had body woes, I got to a point last year where I didn't anymore and was quite liking what I saw, the the ex came and went and took alot of my self worth & self esteem with him and left me with a fair bit of self doubt. Which i am working hard on getting back fully.

Are you going to let a jerk like that, take away your self-worth? If anything, this is worth defying. A healthy relationship allows each person to grow and be their best.

Also, everyone has their own standards of beauty and attractiveness. What one man might like, the other might wrinkle their nose at. Same goes for women.

That is so true and so ridiculous. I think women who are that picky deserve to get nothing. As Mother Magdalen says, "when it is time to pick our daily bread don't be so choosey, pick the buns that are closest to you and don't wast time looking for the perfect one because we all know that a bun in the hand is worth two in the bush....or is it a hand on the bush leaves only on had for the buns..!?" I can never remember that?!

I don't know who this Mother Magdalen is but she sounds like a smart cookie.

Would you date a man who's 4'5" tall?

I need and want to move to the good old USA I think...;)

It's got nothing to do with your looks.

Maybe you weren't giving out the big, green light for go. Sometimes, when we're not in the proper headspace, we give mixed signals or ones that say we're unavailable.

Get out there and practice your "Go" sign.

Making a kissy face while rubbing your nipples can be quite effective.

Way too much detail Tan. How about a simple flirtatious glance or lingering eye contact?

Those are fine but the nipple-rubbing is more obvious and is almost guaranteed to not be missed. :D

I havent asked a girl out in years but what I remember and will be using as my guide is the classic eye flirt. I know that if we make eye contact and she smiles then I can at least give it a go at asking her out

Ok I love my curves I am a UK size 12, with 34F bust, a very nice butt and great legs. My tummy is the only thing that I would like to make improvements on but it really isn't that sticky out.

So I would say I am a bigger version of Pamela Anderson figure wise but with real boobs.

So what figure do you find attractive or for girls what figure do you have and are you mainly happy with it?

Like everything in life, each person has their own preferences. Some men gravitate towards the thinner girls and others towards the curvier ones.

I myself fall somewhere in between, I think. I've been everything from very slim (size 2-3 Canadian) to curvier (size 6-8).

I'm almost 5'5, weigh about 120 lbs, have a bust size of 34D, relatively flat stomach, a nice a$$, and the "hour glass" figure (b/c of the hips to waist ratio). While I'm in school I lose weight (don't eat properly) so that's why I'm around the low 120s right now...I'm bound to gain weight once I get back home.

I like my body because I can wear pretty much anything I want. However, I can't sport the cute little tanks and NOT look a little on the tarty side - the downside of being well endowed I guess.

That said, I'd love to be more toned. For me, it's not about losing weight. I'd like to tone up them thighs.

I have to say, when you are curvy, men do look. It's biology baby.

BTW: OP, you are a very attractive girl. Clearly you've been talking to some idiots.

You are killing me here. :lmao:

I should go out and try that and see what responses I get lol.

My boyfriend and I were watching Britney's infamous VMA performance a few weeks and he made a remark indicating she was too chubby. This got me curious about his personal preference. I asked him what kind of physique he likes on women and he said a bit sheepishly that he likes "skinny girls" as if it was politically incorrect to say that. It was a relief to me, though, because my last boyfriend thought I was too thin (but he turned out to be gay anyway).

This model has what I'd consider an ideal figure -- the perfect compromise between thin and curvy:

bigheartkindsoul you are really hot...

My ideal girl is a blonde between 5-1 and 5-7, with nice curves and larger breasts. Soft, round faces are a definite plus. Don't mistake this for fat...fat is gross...and you've got to be able to hit the gym with me as well! Skinny girls are big turnoff for me...I don't want to hug a fire pole.

But what gets me is an outgoing talkative personality and a sense of responsibility. If you are unemployed or if you are lazy...it is HUGE turnoff.

Porportional with curves for this guy!

I am not attracted to those who are less than a size 6. Nothing to hold in my opinion.

I like women who are not skinny or too small. Just right..

off subject, but even for a guy????

Woods, my ex has an a$$ that can only be described as big and deliciously curvy exactly like a woman's. He's not fat and there is not a thing effeminate about the guy... He just has this incredible curvy lower half and I find it enormously sexy.... Huge turn on. Huge!

Stick thin ladies dont look more artistic or aesthetic. Who wants a girl who's built like a boy?

Luckily for me, this hasn't been a problem!
