Ok thought this would be a good question/poll.

This was the thread that got me started on this thought

Ok it's just one person, but was curious as to what others thought.

Ok I love my curves I am a UK size 12, with 34F bust, a very nice butt and great legs. My tummy is the only thing that I would like to make improvements on but it really isn't that sticky out.

So I would say I am a bigger version of Pamela Anderson figure wise but with real boobs.

So what figure do you find attractive or for girls what figure do you have and are you mainly happy with it?

I'm a size 0 - 2 Canadian, which is size 0 or less American. I've been described as having the classic hourglass figure. I have no issues with it.

I'm on the tall side and athletic. 5'8, 135lbs, size 6, medium chest. Depending on diet and exercise, I fluctuate between being perfectly satisfied to wanting to lose 3-4 pounds of fat.

All of this curviness and you have to go and live in the UK, bigheartkindsoul. Gah! :lmao:

Personally, I am more attracted to a woman like you. My ex was/is the same way. I have dated women of various body types, some extremely thin and tall. But I accept that I am wired to gravitate to a woman like you. I would most certainly approach you after a brisk fencing match and...

*sigh*

So I hope that serves as a bit of a compliment. ;)

quote - Fret not.. I'm sure there are chubby chasers out there as well :) Of course you'll be desired by less of the male population but there will be a certain percentage that will go for ya - quote.

I am glad to hear what you say Timberlane and thank you for your honesty....as hearing comments like ^^^^^ from some silly people does not help

I am a size 8 (10 on a good day lol) and have a 32D bust. I have been told I have nice hips so I am not complaining. I would like to have a bigger bust but shyt happens lol. I have toned legs and a flat tummy but I would like to fix my thighs a bit lol.

I'm 5'7", 110 lbs, long limbed with 34B chest. Size 4. I'm not exactly super curvy (though I do have noticeable waist/hips, breasts and butt), but guys seem to like my frame...I guess it depends on the guy, I don't know. I prefer to stay on the thin side, for my own aesthetic preferences.

Curves are a wonderful thing. I'm not sure how the standard of beauty went from Marilyn Monroe to anorexic women on the magazine covers today, but it really needs to switch back.

Thinner frames look better from an artistic, non sexual standpoint. They generally look sleeker/more elegant and better in clothes. They also convey more "self control." This is all about what women admire and strive for, it has nothing to do with what men desire. That said I'm not trying to justify it and I agree that many models are too skinny, but you have to realize that the fashion industry is run by women and gay men so sexual appeal doesn't come into play. It's all about pure, cold "beauty" from an exaggerated, desexualized standpoint.

I know women come in allsorts of shapes n sizes. What I don't agree with is people like above making comments saying that curvy girls are chubby and might not get many blokes because of it.

I'm one of those people who gets mixed reviews. Some people perceive me as skinny and other people perceive me as curvy. (I'm a canadian size 8, at 5'8) It's all in the eye of the beholder but the men I attract love love love my curves (especially my hips, thighs and butt).

And I disagree with the aestetics comments. Thinner isn't more artistic in any kind of way. If it were so, why would Marylin Monroe remain a sex symbol to this day and how would we explain pin up art as well as all nudes leadinp up to the middle of the XXe century?

Actually I think that there is something in my DNA that tends to draw me to TnA.

I see those really skinney waify women and I just think... she cant feed herself... LOL . Stick thin ladies dont look more artistic or aesthetic. Who wants a girl who's built like a boy?

Also, what you call self control, I tend to see as big mental issues! Maybe that's just experience talking.

Your right, not only those but people like Marilyn Monroe, Carmen Electra, Kelly Brook, Beyonce, all examples of women (albiet celebs) with curves who are very beautiful. And I don't think these women are chubby!!!

I like my curves too.

Some peoples comments just get me rattled. Not because slim or skinny is not beautiful because they are, but it just encourages the theme of must be skinny to be attractive so those with curves or extra lbs go to extreme lengths to try and fit in with what some people say are acceptable bodies, making themselves ill or pushing themselves to hard or suffering self esteem issues because of it.

sounds like some good lookin women folk in here.

i'm a sucker for the "hourglass" a la Marilyn Monore (size 10, right?) SEXY! the W has curves to her and i can't get enough. without curves, whadda got? a tree trunk? BORING!

OP...you sound hot and guys that say that curvey women are chubby would rather have a beanpole, crackhead super model, where you can count her ribs and get your eye poked out by her knees and elbows while "normal" clothes would fall right past her no hips and ass.

i'm a BIG fan of curves and T&A :)

Bigheartkindsoul, you sound very beautiful. I am glad to see there are women out there who dont believe in the whole size 0 crap. I get made fun off cos I have a big butt but I love my curves.

I hate the pressure that women and young girls are under these days to look skinny.

I have a big bubble butt too, but I love it....lol.

my friends have called me "ghetto booty" on many occasions, so i can relate...i hope that comment does not offend anyone, but i literally have to wear jean sizes that are to big in the waste to compensate for the junk in the trunk. ;)

my big ass is what attracted my W to me originally...she says most guys don't have an ass....what i have makes up for lots of guys.

U go girl ;)

hey there, I have big tits and get made fun of, stared at, have girls that are jealous and make remarks - but I am proud of them and apart from one bit (my tummy) I love my body. Its taken years to get to the level of liking my body.

If your born a size 0 and thats how your body is this is fine, but the pressure on us girls to lose weight all the dam time is quite frankly all a bit much.
