Chargers Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 well im a senior in high school and have only really had 2 girlfriends in my life, and havent had any in a few years. i havent gone to homecoming or prom at all. i would consider myself kinda shy, but there is this one girl i really have a crush on and need help talking to her. sophomore year we kinda talked alot and i think she liked me but i missed my chance and last year i never saw her and she had a b/f. this year she isnt in any of my classes, but her locker is 2 next to mine so i see her alot. ive talked to her a couple times and i cant tell if she has any interest in me. one thing is that shes really outgoing and kinda popular and im not really that outgoing but i like her a lot and need some help/advice thanks

Don't worry about not having that many girlfriends in high school because that's not a big deal. I would talk to her next time you see her. Don't hesitate or overanalyze. Just smile, be funny, and light in your conversation. Be like "what's up girl, haven't talked to you in a while," and laugh and make it fun conversation. If you have fun while talking to her and approaching her, she will respond the way you want and will like you. Trust me. But you have to have fun while doing it (not goofy or annoying). Almost make it seem like you are using her as your entertainment for that short intitial approach. Kind of laugh, in a light-hearted way, at the things she says that normal people might not respond to. Don't be needy and go in with the mindset that you are the prize, NOT HER. Show higher value, but in not too much of a cocky way. Ask questions and kind of act like you know something she doesn't know if that makes sense. Good luck and don't feel like you have to get her number the first time you talk to her. Make her want you to ask for your number because you are that cool and make her wait, but not too long.

If you dont know, figure it out! Ask her a question, or make a comment to her. Smile, but more like a smirk. Yes, YOU are the prize, but dont act like you are or she WILL think you are cocky. Like i said, keep the conversation short, but the next one a little longer. Dont appear too eager. And most importantly, BE YOURSELF! Dont pretend to be something youre not. You want her to like you for YOU! Keep us posted, Im eager to know what happens!
