RoseRen Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 My H is suffering from ED. We live in different countries. Today he spoke to me over the phone and sounded very depressed about this. He repeatedly told me that I should move on get a life as he is useless and all that. I told him, I would be with him no matter what. But that seems to just anger and depress him more. I would love to go and be with him - but personal circumstances are preventing me from doing this. There are financial concerns as well. How do I handle this? What should I do? How can I comfort him? Please please advice!!!
Curmudgeon Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 How do I handle this? What should I do? How can I comfort him? Please please advice!!! This sounds like something he has to confront, deal with and seek help for all by himself. Has he been to doctors to see if the condition is treatable? If he hasn't, shame on him. This is NOT your problem right now (because of distance) but it's decidedly his and he has to own it and seek help for it. It sounds to me like you're being loving and supportive. He he wants to reject that, that's on him.
