kobegirl Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 a girl who was my bestfriend really pushed a knife in my back and we cut ties... well i was not only friends with her but with her sister as well . my ex best friend has 2 sisters. one of them hates me like she does now but the one still wants to be my friend. the situation is a long story but lets just say that i was extremely hurt by what my ex best friend did .. and now even though i like being friends with one of her sisters it is hard for me because everytime i look at her i think of my ex best friend . i am sure my ex bf isnt thinking of me no more. i just wonder if there is a way i can get past this .. or is it imposible to be friends with someone who's sister i dont like ... we have lunches together and such but it still hurts for me ..i am kind of like a secret because she doesnt want her sisters to know she is friends with me .. it is wierd. I guess what i am trying to say is how would you handle this situation ? thanks.
Blurple Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Well sounds like you are young. You can always patch up friendships, it's easier the younger you are I think. Have you voiced your option to you ex bf? if not why havnt you? this would be your first step in solving you problem. You also said it makes you upset when you are with your EX BFs sister. Does it make you upset because you want your BF back, or because of your falling out?
Author kobegirl Posted October 30, 2007 Author Posted October 30, 2007 oh wait ... no ex boyfriend lol... ex best friend OOPS ! well anyway i am not so young either (35) basically one part of me wants to cut ties completely and move on and that is hard to do when i am still friends with her sister but at the same time her sister has been a good friend to me so I am pretty much betwen a rock and a hard place. it has gotten easier though .. unless she brings my ex best friend up in convresation i dont think of her at all . so maybe I will be ok . thanks
