I just cut ties with every woman who had even a remote romantic interest in me. There were two I was dating, whom of which I ended contact with yesterday. There was also a girl who keeps bugging me from this personals site. I sent her an email detailing how "incompatible" we are based on her profile. All three of these girls are more trouble than they are worth. Wow, that felt so good to do that! My life is much, much better without a woman in it. Sure, I will meet a random woman from time to time, but I have decided NOT to date. It's really not worth it! Everytime I am doing well in my life and perfectly content - some woman tries to barge her way in. I am usually pretty resistant, but I cave in after a while! What can I do to stop this from happening? Now I have this girl at work who keeps asking me to do stuff - all I want her to do is go away! No, I don't want to go to some stupid costume party with her. I'd rather troll around at a bar - that way I wouldn't have to see the girl again. I need some advice on how to stay single and what to tell girls that keep bugging me. I don't want anything from a woman anymore except a piece and I need to make sure I project this.

Ty that and see how it works, Yeah man, in the past I have just told them I don't want a relationship and just want to bang. Then they end up calling you and wanting to hang out and do couple stuff.

Then you can find random hookups, or the services of professionals for the occassional romp. Try Adult Friend Finder and/or swingers clubs.

You are caving, you are deciding to get involved with these women. The best way to stop doing things that bother you is to take responsibility for your actions. Or...you can just continue to blame women for all of your problems....

You know, it may be possible that I have already explored that possibility? Well, I have explored it and what is staring me in the face is that life is so much simpler minus the girlfriend. Girls stir up all kinds of trouble and they seldom have to face it because they are attractive and can do whatever they want to most men. How many times has a man been put in jail as a result of woman's selfish actions? How many girls are basket cases and try to rip your life away from you? How many girls as so damn wishy-washy because they have never had to accomplish anything important on their own?? Many, many, many...

Well my divorce isn't even over with yet and I've had about 3 women already approach me when they found out I was getting divorced. Even though my stbXW cheated and is living with her OM, it just doesn't feel right to me to date until the divorce is final. Not because I feel like I'm being an adulterer, which I would be, but I don't know...it just feels funny. Anyway I did go do a few things with a couple of them. Went to a movie with one, dinner with another....kind of like almost friends. I definitely didn't want to get tied down and wasn't about to lead either of them on. How do you stay single? Just tell them it has nothing to do with them, but you just don't want any committments right now. In my situation, they understood after coming off a bad M with a total tramp. On a side note, a few friends are telling me that I'm almost 40 and need to get out there and find a soulmate...and I said...uh...no I don't. Don't want one, don't need one. Sure I know there are some good ones out there, but I sure as hell aint gonna take the chance that I get another tramp.

Sure, there's the odd person who can fool you but if it's a consistent experience, look to the only constant, in this equation. With your current attitude, it's best not to look for a relationship. You'll only hurt others or get even more bitter (is this possible?).

Actual age vs Mental Age is always there as well (ie, the 34 year old woman I dated who acted like she was 17). Believe me, I wish I didn't find any truth in the quotes here, but they just scream so loud. As for not looking, that would be counter productive to that last piece of advice as I would inevitably find one.

I'd call that pretty selective, and I still have a cynical attitude about dating. It's not that I haven't been looking, I'm just having no luck. Maybe it's the tone of my profile, maybe I need a better picture, maybe I need some better introductory emails...who knows.

Saying and doing are two different things. Ya'll say you want a good man, blah, blah, blah, but your actions speak otherwise. I know this from experience. I consider this thread to be the epitomy of a good man who was been jaded by woman's behavior. I know a lot of "good" men who just don't care anymore. Congratulations, ladies.
