Magnatolia Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Hi all, Okay this is going to sound really strange. There are some friends who I get anxious when plans are made. I don't really know what causes it, mostly my heart starts beating faster and I start thinking about what I'm going to talk about etc. Like I was invited by a friend to her brothers bday party and the above happened as soon as I hung up the phone. It lasted for about 20-30 mins then I got over it. But even when I was waiting for them I was nervous. But things went great and I had an awesome time. Now I've got another friends party of which probably half the group I know, the others I don't. And the same thing happened. It's mostly to do with the people I don't know. Yet I had lunch with a friend that works in a different department to me last week. Met her through the net. This was the second time I'd met her in person and I had no problems whatsoever. We had a great time, laughing and chatting. So why is it that certain situations tend to freak me out? Any ideas?
Yosef Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 It's just that your anxious. You might just lack self-confidence. Is it a "Yay" anxious, "I'm real nervous" anxious, or "Don't let me make a fool of myself" anxious?
