Jason74 Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 OK, now that I've reread it I don't know what to think. There are things in this thread that've never happened to me, and I sure don't work in a restaurant. I wish I was high up enough on the ladder to take random people on "work lunches." I was taking the woman I'm complaining about on friendly lunches and we went dutch. I'm a management level professional, the psycho boss is an office manager, and the girl I like is a paraprofessional. I've never taken "my employees" on "excursions." Or maybe she's changing details to hide who she is? Everyone else here has more experience with these situations than I do. Me, I can find out easily if it's my coworker on Monday, so I'm not going to stress about it. This is one of the few Mondays I've looked forward to this year, that's for sure. Hope I didn't disappoint, Theresa
Jason74 Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 I'm sure no one cares, but this did turn out to be my coworker. I confronted her Monday and she quit on Tuesday saying she "found a better job." So, now all I have to do is worry about the one that I'm interested in. Thanks everyone for calling this woman out. You probably saved the girl I like's job!
jcster Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 No Way! That is so bizarre. Glad it worked out for the best!
allina Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 The OP was the one you didn't want but that wanted you? How funny for us, how humiliating for her
Kamille Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 This would be the second time something like this happened on LS.... This always leaves me feeling vulnerable. hope things work out for you and your coworker!
