Hey there, I'm just starting to get into this whole online dating thing, mostly using craigslist.

I have to say that so far I've been doing pretty good, sent out like 5 emails to ads and got 4 responses. I am being honest with them as far as my personality and send them real recent pics etc. I guss after the first couple emails, I dont know where to go with it...real life meeting, etc?

Don't waste time. Meet them somewhere in public and get to see them and have them see you to explore if there's chemistry. If so proceed from there. Get things away from cyberspace as soon as possible!

I agree with Tony.

Also, match tends to have better girls than CL since it's a paid service. And NEVER meet a girl without seeing a pic of her first. :D

Whats a good way to suggest it without sounding like a creep?

Just ask them for their picture.. it is online dating and you cannot get to know someone if you don't know what they look like...

I agree with Tony and Tan too.. meet them quickly.. there is nothing worse than spending weeks and hours of your time emailing and talking with someone on the phone just to find out that when you meet them there is no connection or they lied about what they look like..

"So do you want to meet up for a drink at Shenanigan's on Saturday?"

That is a great way..or any place informal.. like Starbucks.. Stay away from heavy expensive dinners until you start to date them..

It keeps things light and no pressure that way..

By the way.. I met my wife on Match.. it works...

I am also online dating, I would say meet them asap, after a couple of emails so you know a little about them (although take this with a pinch of salt until you meet and get to know them).

But just ask how about meeting up? I am free, give two options of days, ask if either are good for them and take it from there. Can ask them where they'd like to meet aswell.

Meeting in person is better IMO, writing in emails is too easy so finding out in person these things is best.

Good luck hope you have some fun with it, I do (well most of the time...lol)
