Hencefoth I won`t use the friggin word hence, what it`s saposta mean, hence I will avoid the word. Whatever, I think it slipped in there again.

Oh, about the thread, it ptobably has something to do with a person`s perception of their place in the universe and what their values are. Which means if you make a commitment you stick with it for better or worse.

Somehow those words are familiar:lmao: But, the love of self rules and those words are sort of obsolete. So, making love and having sex are the same act with a commitment attached. It is the committment that is mostly lacking now.

Don't let your personal bitterness colour the fact that having sex and making love are different experiences. While the act can be the same, insert tab A into slot B, there's quite a gap when the softer emotions are involved v. rutting.

Any time sex gets away from commitment and persoanl responsiblity, and it has nothing to do with whether it is defined as having sex or making love, you will eventually end up with trying to deal with perplexing things.

Just notice the measures they are taking in Oregon to allow 11 year olds to have access to birth control. Get away from commitment and this is where you will end up every time.

So, are 11 year olds having sex or making love?

I don't agree...

Sex is the amazing act of receiving AND giving satisfaction.

Making love is the amazing act of receiving AND giving satisfaction AND love.

Lizzie knows her sex. This is the best definition by far, sorry folks but this is bang on.

Do 11 year-olds fall in love with each other?

Depends how hot they are.

Either way, it would be sex, not making love...

It makes no difference how it is defined, children do not have the maturity for adult commitment. It takes a lot of responsibility. You can debate all you want but a person can have sex and call it what he wants. But, the worst case scenario is when adults who are supposed to be responsible are resigned to accept the ridiculous and alter the system to accomodate it.

That`s what you get if you don`t understand that making love and sex are the same thing. Only the responsibility you attach to it may differ.

You speak in terms that are so commitment phobic, such as responsibility or commitment. What you fail to address are the softer emotions intertwined with the more carnal emotions when making love.

I dunno, dude, I'm guessing it would just be a lot of fumbling around and spilt juice boxes.

We are right back where we started. What you define as making love is self love. You only have those feeling for someone that YOU desire.

Do you only think in terms of you?

When it comes to sex or making love, it is all about what I want. Everyone should be so honest:p

I don't solely think of my pleasure, while making love. While having sex, yes, it's all that matters.

With enough thought to what you said, you will see my point. If I made love based on what someone else desired, there would not be enough of me to go around:lmao: Just joking.... but it is true, I would be doing it with less than attractive partners cause they are the ones that want me the most.

There are not many choices for someone unattractive so I would be a catch:D But, no way Jose. I am not in it to make love to those that are most interested in making love to me. I want what I want. Which easily explains why I`m here at the moment rather than humping it somewhere:o

You don't make love to anything laying by the roadside or sitting high on a bar stool. You make love with someone you're in love with and who you believe is in love with you. When you have these synergies, you will hopefully give. If you're not giving anything, you're having sex and it might as well be with the barfly.

I'm sorry,

Forgive me...love me.

Let us all make love...out of nothing at all.

If you're making love out of nothing at all, you're having sex.

Air Supply is nothing but Hot air....yet so passionate.

Music is not the answer.

What is? (that is probably why we find all of ourselves here)

When you make love, do you look in the mirror? Who do you think of? Does he look like me?

Posted

Well, you can lead a horse to water but you can`t make him or her drink. You may define having a strong emotional connection with someone you are having sex with as making love. But it is in the definition of love that gets confusing.

I say it is not really love as I define it. Each person has their definition of love. I believe all romantic sexual attraction love is self love rather than love for another. If it was love for another there wouldn`t be that list like the Match dot com profiles. And let`s face it, when it comes to sex or making love, we have our list and it is a picky one.
