And I hate these games...wait so many days for him to call...don't call him again if he hasn't responded to your text...don't have sex unless you have had at least 8.5 dates in 6 weeks...etc... So I said to hell with that...I sent a text a few days ago with no response. So I thought this is stupid...I am not going to wait 3 days to see if he happens to call. So I called and surprisingly he answered. I guess my text didn't come off the way I thought it did and he took it very seriously when it wasn't intended that way. We are going to talk but I think I am done. I have decided no more games, no trying to be ultra-casual when that's not how I feel. I can't date multiple people at the same time...I'm just not wired like that. So i will date one and if he doesn't want to be that one, well, then it is his loss. Sorry...just my rant...

I've always hated the way people turn dating into a bunch of games as well. The dishonesty, double talk, and senseless BS really get old quick, and I really can't figure out why people think they need to act the way they do. If everyone would just be themselves and not worry about these ignorant "rules of engagement", the world would be a much better place.

Screw dating rules. If you want him, go get him. If he doesn't see things the same way, he should have enough cajones to admit it. Once it's all in the open, you both can make educated decisions. Just make sure he's not a patter guy who isn't even honest with himself.
