Zankon Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 where do I start... my last relatioship ended 7 months ago... took my time to forgive and forget, learn and move on. and I started dating and I had my fair share of dates. then I meet this girl and everything I was looking for is in her. physically Im not attracted to her that much but her personality makes her better looking than freaking snow-white! In 2-3 great dates, I never made a move because she seemed she has values and maturity that is rare. So anywho, everytime I call and ask her if she wanted to go out, she was always cool with it except tonight when she had to cancel because she has time sensitive work to be taken care of. So we just chatted on the phone and I told her I like her and I described what I liked about her and asked her what she thoughts about our dates. She replied from past experience, she learnt that she needs to build a friendship first blablabla then she mentioned she broke up with her ex 3 months ago (they talked about engagement and all for this fall) she assured me she is over it and not hang up on it at all. I personally dont think you can move on in 3 months after u break up with someone you were planning to spend your life with. (they knew each other for years but dated for few months) now we're meeting in a couple of days again but her story raised red flags... should I be worried that I m probably a rebound or am i paying too much attention to silly things and should just enjoy my time with her?

I vote for just enjoy your time with her and see where things are headed. She was just being open with you and told you a little about her past history. That doesnt mean that its a RED FLAG and that she's still hung up on him.
