Hello all,

I am going on a trip and I will have access to an outdoor, non-heated, swimming pool. It's going to be too cold to swim in my trunks, so I am thinking about buying a wet suit.

There are many kinds of them, and I am thoroughly confused. Any advice?

How cold will the water be? To just knock the chill off (80 to 83F) a 3 mil shorty is good

I would imagine 50/60.

If you're going swimming you should look at suits that are designed for that -- triathlon suits might fit the bill. Lots of wetsuits are designed for snorkling and scubadiving and thus don't have the flexibility in the shoulders to support real swimming.
