tommyr Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Ladies, Can you please name a specific gift that you would enjoy from husband or boyfriend? Max dollar value: $1000 (but more expensive it not necessarily a good thing to her)
tomwiz Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Don't know if this would help out, but several gals have told me they'd rather have a $100 dollar gift from Tiffanys than a $500 from anywhere else haha
coco_milkshake Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Lots of lingerie but then thats just me lol.
Kasan Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Ladies, Can you please name a specific gift that you would enjoy from husband or boyfriend? Max dollar value: $1000 (but more expensive it not necessarily a good thing to her) Is it a special birthday--30, 40, 50? How long have you been together, what are her interests, and what have you given her in the past?
Sweetcheripie Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I would absolutely love a day at a great spa, massage, facial etc. But others say that is something you should do for yourself and not a great gift. Have you bought her jewelry? My friend just got a Louis Vuitton purse from her hubbie and she is in 7th heaven.
Author tommyr Posted October 21, 2007 Author Posted October 21, 2007 My friend just got a Louis Vuitton purse from her hubbie and she is in 7th heaven. I just want to thank you for the great suggestion! After driving around to 10 high-end stores (Saks, Macys, Nordstrom, Loehmans, etc) I finally learned that the nearest store which carries Louis Vitton is 75 miles away!! I did some analysis and discovered that I would drive 150 miles (round trip) to spend $900 on an LV purse, of which about $700 is purely based on the brand identity (a brand highly diluted by counterfeits). My wife is far too practical to spend that much premium on brand identity. So I got her a very nice Coach purse for half the LV price. She loves it, and my savings covered our dinner+movie+babysitter with another $200 left over!!! Thanks again
Sweetcheripie Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 I'm so glad your wife loves her purse and it sounds like you two had a great date night!
