I had 2 good dates last weekend but afterwards felt like the intensity wasn't there

friday i met the first one for dinner she is 39 with one son(i'm 50 with one son). we hit it off pretty good. zero gaps in the conversation. afterwards i walked her to her car which was only a few feet away and shook her hand and said i had a good time and good nite. i didn't try any moves on the first date as i believe i should be a gentleman. on sunday i met someone who is 41 with 2 young kids. no problem there. before the date she said she wanted to hold my hand during the date as she said she is very touchy feely. so sure enough we meet and she gives me a card with a gift card in it for my birthday which was on the 3rd. i thought that was so sweet. so after we order she slides her arm behind my arm and we hold hands. i was alittle more nervouse with this date. anyway before long she is snuggling up against me(we were in a booth). after dinner i walked her to her car and we hugged for awhile and i gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. i had to reach for her cheek because she is 5'7 and i'm only 5'4.

 

i called fridays date monday night as i hadn't heard from her to follow up and tell her i had a good time. i guess that's pretty much standard procedure right for the lady to wait for the guy to call? so i did and she said she was doing something for work but that she said she had a good time and did want to get together again.

 

i emailed sundays date as soon as i got home sunday to tell her i had a good time. she did not respond so i emailed her again monday telling her i knew she was busy with after school meetings and her kids. she emailed me last night saying she had a very good time and would like to get together again soon.

 

yet for some reason i'm feeling insecure about the outcome of both dates. the intensity just doesn't seem there because they haven't really tried to contact me after the dates but are just responding to my advances. ladies what do you think?
