emery3000 Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 I've been talking to an amazing women I met online. When we first talked on the phone she asked me where I live (apartment, house, etc.) and I told her I had an apartment. Problem is I don't have an apartment, I live with my parents (a temporary thing) but I was worried what she would think. I'm in my 20s and I know now I just should've told the truth, she probably wouldn't have even cared at all, but I panicked, wanted to sound cool and was a little embarrassed. But at the time it was the first time we had talked, I was nervous, and it just came out. I really don't want to mess this up. After talking to her more I've realized we have unbelievable chemistry, she is sooooo cute, and, best of all, she wants to meet me in person. We live far apart so if we meet I'm going to have to fly to her or her to me. She actually wants me to go out there for a few days. What should I do? Just tell her and try to explain?
dbtmarley Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Maybe you could tell her your parents live with you and it's temporary. Not the truth I know, but not entirely a lie. I should be charging for advice like this (j/k) Thomass
Author emery3000 Posted October 15, 2007 Author Posted October 15, 2007 that would not work; my parents have a huge house and she knows what I do for a living. anyway, I guess the main problem is that I just feel bad for being dishonest with her and want to tell her the truth. I just have to figure out the right way to do this so she dosen't think I'm a dishonest guy, which I'm usually not.
Pentula77 Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 There are plenty of available women within a 20 mile radius. Why push ***** up hill with a LDR that has a very small chance of success ?
