clueless24 Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 thank you for the future responses ahead of time. i appreciate your input(s) greatly! so this guy and I are in the same class (grad school), we pretty much see each other all week long. we dont talk as much i i like to, but sometimes we say a couple things to each other every now and then. he is from another state and had just moved here to go to school since august, so i tried to befriend him a little bit to make him feel comfortable coming to a new city. well, i have developed a "crush" on him and do flirt with him on occasions. He jokes around with me too, but i do not know what he thinks of me. sometime ago, he started text messaging me and we text messaged for hours and that continued for a few nights. then he stopped texting me, even when he text me nowadays, he doesn't say much or at times, he even doesnt repsond after i responded . Last week, i was a little depressed and he called to tell me that i needed to go out and have fun, stop studying =). My car was in the shop this week so i drove my sister's car and when he saw me driving home, he sped up, running a red light behind me to catch up with me just to ask me what happened to my other car.....When i teased him about the laws prosecuting those idiotic drivers runnin red lights, he said that it is because i made him do illegal things...sometimes when he sees me driving in the parking lot, he would honk and call or text to ask me where I am going. he sometimes calls to ask me what i am doing or what kind of social things i would be doing later, but never really to ask me to do anything with him. yesterday evening he called to ask if i was studying at school cause he thought he saw my car in the parking lot when he was passing by campus ( i wasn't) so he asked me what I was doing later on that night. I told him i might go out to some club to meet up with some friends. i asked him if he wanted to come and he said that he wasn't a club person so i told him i would call him later if i end up doing something else. it ended up being that i was going to go with a group of friends to the movies. i called him and asked if he wanted to go with us, he said that he is not really interested in any of the movies in theater right now. Later on we decided to go bowling, this time i texted him to see if he wanted to come; he didn't wanted to go either =(. there have been times where I have invited over to my place for a barbecue or for poker or for drinks with some friends, he never came. he called and asked me to go to a social dinner once (school related event, with other classmates being there) and i said i was too tired. Then there was this time when i called to ask what he was doing and told him that i was sick of studying and wanted a drink, he said to come over to his place for drinks. i never came because i didn't know what his intentions were and i didn't want to seem desperate. but other than that, he never really asked me to do anything. I sometimes feel that he is interested in me because he notices little things about me and notices when i am not in class or even when i come late (in a class of 126 students, and we sit across the lecture hall from each other). But he seems so avert sometimes. he talks to other girls more than he would talk to me and i feel like he directs his attention toward them more than toward me. i am an extrovert person that is very friendly to all people and sometimes i even flirt a lot; i dont know if he's thinking that i am just being nice to him. how should i let him know i like him? or even before that, is he even interested in me? i just dont know how to proceed. sorry for making this so long...thank you very much for reading and responding.
