r4836 Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 First off, I'm a 19yr. old college student, and this is my second year. Now, school started back in september, and I met this girl in my calculus class (she's a freshmen - 18), and she's cute, very intelligent, lively and overall a just a great person. Since then, we've become friends, especially since we always sit together (it's a small class). However, we really don't talk too much in class because after all it's calculus and I need to pay attention or otherwise I won't understand, and after class I have another class in five minutes, so from there we go our seperate ways. But we have spoken over myspace a few times, but no long conversation or anything like that - just a few questions here and there. So my question here, is whether I should ask her out. I know that she likes me as a friend but I don't know if she would be interested in something further. Also, if I do ask her out, and she happens to say no, I don't want it to screw up the friendship and it would be ackward since we're in the same class. Any advice out there? ON A SIDE NOTE (if it's helpful for anyone): She did give me her email once, in case she needed help with her math over the weekend because there was a test on monday - but I know for a fact that she already knows most of the material and if anything I need her help rather than vice versa. Also, for about a week she left the class and was transfered to a higher math level because she was that good at math, but came back a week afterward, because it was just too hard, - she did mention she missed.
buckdawg Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 this is cliche` but here it goes: what's the worse thing that could possibly happen?
