smalltownsingle Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Ok, Im sort of new to the dating scene and I guess Im a little confused. I just ended a long term relationship and before that, dating meant to me seing someone with the intention of getting into a serious relationship. It seemed to have changed. I think Dating is now more like seing many people at a time and having fun? When is it OK to date 2-3 men at a time and when is it not OK? Would a guy think that Im playing a game if they know I date many people at a time? Should I let them know that I am dating other guys? When should I expect a guy to date me exclusively? How can I tell if the guy wants a serious relationship or if he`s just having fun?

Most mature men do not date multiple women simultaneously. Dating is a mess. 10 years from now you will still be asking the same questions, there are no right answers. You must simply find what is right for you.
Poboy Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 dating is basically going out to get to know the person more and have fun also while at it. dont keep serious relationship in your mind while dating cause you will be putting more pressure. dating is a fun activity of discovering people, potential partner and not an exam. its ok to date multiple guys but not for a long time, when you realize who is the right person from the lot , go along with him and not the other guys. dating exclusively is something which needs to talked about with the guy and agreed to by both which will happen in the future and not at the start of dating cause that can scare people away. a guy who is just wanting to have fun will want to sleep with you fast. other than that , you will signs if he serious or not like.
peace_pipe Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 I may be easier to list what dating is NOT. In that case, I'd like to add... Dating and "friends" is NOT the samething.
