Citizen Erased Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 As some may know, I have been with my bf for almost 3 years (will be on Halloween). I am only 20 and I am not an idiot. I know the possibility of me spending my entire life with this one man is low. But I wanted to ask how many of you actually think it could happen? Yes we are the cliched high school sweethearts I hate calling us that but I guess we are. We live together, we have alot in common, we get along with each others families, and our friends all get along. We do want some different things; I want to travel more, visit Europe, my family back in the UK. He is very much an Aussie. He loves this country and really doesn't want to leave it which I can see why, it is beautiful. But he accepts my plans and dreams and has already said he will support me with whatever I feel I need to do, as I have with him. Other then that, we both agree we want children eventually (maybe not until I'm like 30 ) and we have already spoken about marriage, buying a home and building a life together (all of which we both know will happen in the future, we don't want to rush things and are both quite realistic, but after 3 years we have to have discussed it at least). So yeah I am pondering things today, don't know why, just in an odd mood I guess.
allina Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 I think that as long as you are both reasonable, loving and willing to put work in to the relationship you have a chance at beating the odds.
