Teacher's Pet Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Most of these are duh but... douchebags fratboys reformed fratboys who now work in middle management jobs players guys who spend their weekends watching football any guy found in a club guys who routinely wear baseball caps and polo shirts with popped collars guys who refer to their friends as 'the guys' guys who own a dane cook compilation and regularly quote adam sandler hmm...this all seems to be describing the same type LOL... I guess the wedding is off, Shadowplay? You've just (almost) described me to a T, except I don't think I'm a player or a douchebag, and think Dane Cook is an a**hole -tp reformed douchebag?
shadowplay Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 LOL... I guess the wedding is off, Shadowplay? You've just (almost) described me to a T, except I don't think I'm a player or a douchebag, and think Dane Cook is an a**hole -tp reformed douchebag? Eek...do you really pop your collar?
Teacher's Pet Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 I will NOT date.... 1. Heavy smokers 2. Excessive drinkers (I'm a bartender, so I've seen my share of sloppy, slovenly drunken chicks - not that I had anything to do with it) 3. No sense/puritanical sense of humor 4. More then 2 years older than me (yeah, I know... I like to keep 'em close to my age) 5. More than 10 years younger (I prefer younger to older) 6. Does not like sports (or at least doesn't object to my enjoyment of them) 7. Vegetarians (I love to cook) 8. Overly religious 9. Overly feminist (yes, you can hold the door for ME on occasion, too!) 10. Unaffectionate (I'm very much into holding hands/PDA's, etc.) 11. Non-sexual (again, I'm very touchy-feely) 12. Does not like/allergic to cats 13. Women with kids (I want kids one day, but only MY OWN) 14. Women who openly dislike my kinds of music (classic rock/metal) 15. Liberal OR Conservative extremists... pick a side, but please don't go overboard. A few things on this list are negotiable to an extent, but that's basically what I DON'T want in a woman. -tp probably eliminated on most women's lists here.
Teacher's Pet Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Eek...do you really pop your collar? LOL... actually, no... But.... I'm a sports-watching reformed fratboy who routinely wears baseball caps, hangs out with "the guys" (though in my case, many of "the guys" are actually women), and while I don't go around quoting Adam Sandler, I can sing "At A Medium Pace" from memory, and I can go around quoting Family Guy. -tp are you wet yet?
allina Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Femi-nasties Self important teachers Self Important Social Workers Women with no fathers.. I looked back to see if you were quoting someone with these but didn't see anything and I'm slightly confused about the above, to say the least 1. WTF are femi-nasties?? Super nasty women? 2. Self important teachers and social workers? Yes those people that try to help others, how self important 3. All women have fathers, that's just the way the birth process works Sorry I really don't get if I missed your sarcasm or what here.
Saxis Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Hmm, never thought about a "Will not date!" list. Don't find that I'm all that picky, but I'll give it a shot: 1. No cats (allergy/asthma related), dogs OK. 2. No smoking 3. No drugs 4. No excessive drinking 5. No couch potatoes/TV obsessed (I hate the "religiously watch Desperate Housewives!" type) That's the "unbendable" stuff.
Sean0775 Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 "Too much baggage" is very subjective. Are sure that you are not just using that as a catch all to de-classify some decent women? I don't have anything seriously wrong with me (mentally or physically), so I'd like to not have to deal with it from the other side. Selfish? Sure. Understandable? I'd like to think so. Same here.. but worse.. Remember that women apply their own don't date list as well.. half of the women you might date they won't date you.. -I had a bad experience dating a woman with a child, never again. I'd almost say I don't want children at all because of it, but the experience wasn't quite that bad. *puts on flame retardant vest* -I will never date someone I have to support completely. There are a lot of jobs out there if a person really wants one. -Yes Baggage is subjective, but from my point of view it involves things like severe mental disorders, psycho exes, and things that cause obsessive behavior and leaving me 3-4 messages a day when she clearly knows I'm at work (yes that last one is speaking from experience).
Lizzie60 Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 I won't date: a smoker (I hate smoking) a man with young children (been there done that) religious man (can stand them) a man with any kind of addiction (gambling, drug) an emotionally insecure someone who is not intelligent (the guy has to be as smart as I am LOL) someone who is loud (especially in public, how embarrassing) a man with any kind of abusive behaviour or a control freak (no explanation needed) a man who is unemployed a man who is not financially stable
Lizzie60 Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 a man who hates oral sex a man with a tiny penis (been there) with limited sexual skills How could I forget this important stuff..
Sean0775 Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 a man who hates oral sex Giving or receiving?
Lizzie60 Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Giving or receiving? Both... it would definitely be a deal breaker
Sean0775 Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Both... it would definitely be a deal breaker I have yet to hear anyone say they don't like receiving, though I definately understand not enjoying giving it (from the male perspective at least). -1 to your datable guy list:p
Ocean-Blue Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 - poor hygiene (I like men who take regular baths, smell clean, etc) - not well groomed (I like trimmed fingernails, etc) - pedantic - takes himself too seriously - narrow minded/uptight - not an intellectual equal - shorter than me (ideally visibly taller than I am) - ignorant (has no clue what is going on around him) - sexist, racist - push over I could go on and on...there are too many to list. If a man is any of these things, it is highly likely that I won't date him.
Phateless Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 deal breakers are stupid, ultra religious, STDs, slovenly (totally out of shape), not attractive... other than that it just depends on the girl. i'm picky.
