Krying Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Has anyone seen this film? I had heard of it previously, but never paid it any attention. I was reading of the get your girlfriend back ebooks and this film was mentioned so I went out and rented it. Amazing. It puts NC and what guys go through into a crystal clarity when breakups occur. The problem for me, is that I know no matter what course my life takes now, I can't see my ex being a part of it. It want her there with me. I didn't just lose someone I love, I lost a dear friend. And concerning love, it's when you're apart from a person that you develop your attachments to them, not necessarily when you are with them. Now that she's gone, I love her more than ever.

Author Krying Posted October 12, 2007 Author Posted October 12, 2007 The film is told from the guys perspective. Girl breakups up with him, immediately is with another guy. He gets insomnia and finds a job working the night shift at a supermarket. In time he becomes interested in a girl that works there. Ends up taking her on to a party and runs into the ex. The ex comes up to him later on in the party and tries to get back with him. He by this point doesn't care about her in the slightest. She tries to kiss him and, his new girl sees it and flees the party. After trying to explain what happened, he ends up back by himself again. He's sleeping now and no longer has insomnia. Lots of cool things in the film, but a great take on breakups from a guys perspective, also concerning NC, and the ex trying to come back etc.
