Pyro Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 well i kinda agree with some of his points; they do make sense. To each their own, but if you look at all the responses on this thread and many many other threads, not too many people agree with his views.
Timberlane Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Are you suggesting that women are oxen? No wonder we're so oppressed... Are you dating Rick from "The Young Ones" by any chance? Always with the bleedin' oppression!
Trialbyfire Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Are you dating Rick from "The Young Ones" by any chance? Always with the bleedin' oppression! I'm singing contre point to woggle's anti-women aria...
Sean0775 Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 To each their own, but if you look at all the responses on this thread and many many other threads, not too many people agree with his views. So this thread ISN'T a joke? OP certainly had me fooled.
analyseThis Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 To each their own, but if you look at all the responses on this thread and many many other threads, not too many people agree with his views. yes like i said, i agree with "some" of his points the materialistic woman is yet another point I agree with; I mean who would want to go out with a woman whose interested in your bank account and credit cards or car only? definitely not me. Would you?

Would you? I'm not interested in dating a materialistic woman but IMO I believe that he only started this thread just to anger the LS ladies.
norajane Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I'm not interested in dating a materialistic woman but IMO I believe that he only started this thread just to anger the LS ladies. Yes, the same ladies who always urgently reply to his threads when he's about to f*ck things up with his wife by taking out on her whatever his anger against women happens to be about that day. The same ladies who try to soothe him when he's spent all day on those stupid websites that fuel his rage toward women. The same ladies who try to help him - that's who he's trying to anger today.
Road Rage Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Harry Truman said it best.... "Talk softly and carry a big stick":lmao:
Author Woggle Posted October 11, 2007 Author Posted October 11, 2007 I am not trying to anger any woman. I never said that this applies to all women so if this does not apply to you do not be offended. I made this last when I was single, lived by it and look at me now with my gem of a wife. I weeded out all the no goods and when they were I had my queen.
Author Woggle Posted October 11, 2007 Author Posted October 11, 2007 This is a list of how to push certain people away, but how would you advise a man to go about drawing someone in? How did you woo your wife? How do you show a woman how you feel about her? Do you guys use pet names or anything? What's the softer side? Enquiring minds really do want to know! I was just myself and I would advise men to do the same. Never use pickup lines and never try to kick game. Just present your true self at it's best and hope that a woman is attracted. My wife and I just sort of fell for each other even though neither one of us planned to. I do have a softer side but since this board has an overabundence of men dealing with women that mistreat them I need to teach them how to get in touch with the pig inside.
Star Gazer Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Harry Truman said it best.... "Talk softly and carry a big stick":lmao: That's actually Teddy Roosevelt's saying (referring to "Big Stick Diplomacy"), and it's "Speak softly and carry a big stick."
Road Rage Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Yeah, it was Harry Truman who said the buck stops here. Roosevelt was before my time:lmao: Anyway, somebody said something about carrying a big stick. Great acvice when it comes to women:p

Roosevelt was before my time:lmao: Anyway, somebody said something about carrying a big stick. Great acvice when it comes to women:p Correct. "The buck stops here" referred to Truman's acceptance of responsibility for the administration's shortcomings. Men SHOULD heed that same advice and quit pointing fingers!
Trialbyfire Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Correct. "The buck stops here" referred to Truman's acceptance of responsibility for the administration's shortcomings. Men SHOULD heed that same advice and quit pointing fingers! *claps*
Author Woggle Posted October 11, 2007 Author Posted October 11, 2007 Correct. "The buck stops here" referred to Truman's acceptance of responsibility for the administration's shortcomings. Men SHOULD heed that same advice and quit pointing fingers! Actually it's women who usually have a problem admiting that they screwed up or are wrong.
oppath Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Actually it's women who usually have a problem admiting that they screwed up or are wrong. If anyone ever screwed up, it was Truman. I don't want to go too far off topic, but the whole "a land invasion would have cost too many US lives so we had to drop the bombs" myth was a total fabrication. Whose leading this women LS revoluiton. TBF, SG? Let's discuss the terms over milkshakes. One chocolate flavored, one whatever your real name is flavored...if you really want equality and choice, we'll use neopolatin.
Saxis Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Gah! Women (in the US) have had equal opportunity and rights for many years now. Speaking of pointing fingers.... It's not the man's fault if they aren't gaining ground (but they are). Your rights are there for the taking, get off your b!tch-chair and grab them!
serial muse Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Gah! Women (in the US) have had equal opportunity and rights for many years now. Speaking of pointing fingers.... We're making fun of the goofy thing in the OP about patriarchy.
Saxis Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Dude...it's a joke. We're making fun of the goofy thing in the OP about patriarchy. Jokes wouldn't be funny unless there was some truth in them....
luvmy2ns Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I honestly don't think Woggle was trying to PO the ladies here. Some of what he says is true, and can be true for women assessing men as relationship material. What really struck me (I looked at it pretty quickly) was the one where a guy needs to have a set. One guy was trying very hard some time back to get me, and he's sweet and all; great dancer, hard worker, good dad, etc. etc. However, I knew that if I were the type to do so, he would let me walk all over him. Totally turned me off. Now that he's found a different gal, I'm finding I was right on the money!
serial muse Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Like I said: We're making fun of the goofy thing in the OP about patriarchy. Here's the truthiness part: I'm singing contre point to woggle's anti-women aria... I'm not interested in dating a materialistic woman but IMO I believe that he only started this thread just to anger the LS ladies. So that's how we're dealing with the frustration. With a bit of humor.
Saxis Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 So that's how we're dealing with the frustration. With a bit of humor. I see, my bad! Looked like some people were rather offended by the "patriarchy" line in the OP. Yes, that line was a little overboard, but I thought the OP was rather funny, with quite a bit of truth thrown in!
halfarock Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 I was just myself and I would advise men to do the same. Never use pickup lines and never try to kick game. Just present your true self at it's best and hope that a woman is attracted. My wife and I just sort of fell for each other even though neither one of us planned to. … This is the best of all your rules. Many times it seems that the popular wisdom of the day is that one gets a boy/girl by having the upper hand, using games and whatnot to trick the other person into liking one. I’ve always been successful by just being myself. When you are always being yourself and not playing to the crowd, not everyone will like you but the ones that do, really do. I’ve never used pickup lines, played games, or even tried to hit on a woman. It’s more like ever so often I encounter a woman and something between us just clicks. It was like that with my girlfriend; we just kind of ran into each other one day and fell for each other rather quickly.
jophil28 Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 . It was like that with my girlfriend; we just kind of ran into each other one day and fell for each other rather quickly. LIke that TV ad where two people are running across a field of daffodils towards each other ,arms outstretched ?? Kinda girly, dude? Gee,I love going out to hunt - gaming women is so much fun . The 'hit' rate is high and women are easy prey, especially the hotties who are only good with the wussy boys. Try it guys.
